Starling Dear is the music and writing project of Phil Sharrow, with recording and performing collaborations David Priest. Inspired by connections to nature and the mysterious exploration of our infinitely deep inner and outer worlds. Playing music is a way for our intelligence to explore reality and creative space for everything including grief, celebration, mourning, and longing. Like many others, Phil loves the diving into music to escape the logical mind where we can process the human experience with hopes for holding space for a way of being on this planet that is life enhancing for furs, feathers, and skins of all types.
